Critical Sheep is about one nerd making her own mark on the knitting world
Welcome to the flock! Critical Sheep Yarns features bright and sweet-smelling yarns hand-dyed in a little kitchen in Waukesha, WI. We create these yarns with a nerdy spin, focusing on the D&D and Magic: The Gathering realms. From Magnus the Druid to Blood Raven, you can find a full rainbow of color for any of your knitting needs. Critical Sheep currently stocks two sizes of yarn – our “D4” Fingering weight and our “D10” Worsted weight. Both yarns are colorfast and superwash, which means there should be little-to-no bleeding or running of colors in the wash. Our Merino is ethically sourced, and as a responsible member of the fiber community, this is an extremely important aspect of our business, both from purchasing yarns and selling to you, our customers.
